After years of fine tuning, our vision for Alton’s Pride is complete. A traditional amber bitter brewed using water from the Hampshire chalk hills. Full and clean tasting, initially malty then citrus fruit and resinous hop build to a quenching bitter finish.

One of our original recipes, amber coloured best bitter with copious amounts of Cascade hops. Wonderfully aromatic floral nose balanced by a gentle bitterness with a hint of sweetness. No wonder this beer has won the most awards of all the beers in our range.

Champion Mild of Britain 2002

Complex mild perhaps not in the traditional sense but we like our beers hoppy! Ruby coloured, roast malt aroma with hints of blackcurrant and plum leads to a soft yet full roast flavour, fruit and malt vying with the rounded hoppy bittersweet finish. Not only for the mild fanatics but the bitter lovers too. Both will be left satisfied and wanting more.

Winter Ale

A wonderful winter warmer. Deep amber strong ale not for the faint hearted. A secret blend of malt and hops that give a mouth-watering hop aroma, smooth and warming malt flavours with a deep, spicy hop finish. Devilishly moreish. Nom Nom Nom

Smoked English Pale Ale

A Smoked English pale ale based on an original recipe from a local 18th century botanist/ brewer. A blend of Maris Otter, Munich and wood cured Smoked malt with premium English hops gives an insight to ale of the 18^th century. Delicately smoked, reminiscent of an Islay whiskey, Juicy Fruit gum and warming alcohol with a gentle bitter finish. To be sipped and savoured or partnered with any chargrilled or smoked food.
