American Pale Ale

Maris Otter and Vienna malts showcasing Centennial and Columbus hops from the US with Jester hops from the UK. Pours a cloudy dark orange color with one finger of white, well-lasting foam. Nose is fresh with citrus fruits, pine needles and spices. Taste is fairly sweet and refreshing, ending in a mild pleasant bitterness. Carbonation is minimal and the palate is surprisingly rich.

Cask at JDW in Surbiton. Dry, herbacious hops, well-rounded with a lingering and pleasantly bitter finish. Good beer.

Cask conditioned in Brewery Tap, Shefford. Deep amber with moderate head. Grapefruit on the nose and a pronounced hop/grapefruit bitterness on the palate. A nice long, bitter finish. Very enjoyable and my kind of beer.
