Apache Rose Peacock 4.2% A.B.V

Premium Bitter

As the evenings get lighter, so does the beer. A soft refreshing bitter with American Cluster hops to wake up your taste buds. Initial summer fruit flavours recede to hints of blackcurrant with a gentle bitterness, a name so unusual you’ve just got to try the beer!

Available July.

On cask at JWD Victoria Station. Appearance: Amber orange, small off white head. Aroma: grassy, a twist of lemon too. Quite unremarkable. Flavour: lots and lots of fresh cut grass, quite a decent amount of bitter hops too with a long bitter grassy finish.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Golden coloured with a dense off-white head; peach aroma; light and fruity with apricot and peach flavours and soft and sweet mouth feel; sustained, gently bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Tasting notes from 2002 Harbury Beer Festival. Rich copper and cloudy. Fruit, mild hops and malt aromas...very pleasant. Great balance of malt and hops. Excellent session beer and fun to drink.
