American Pale Ale

Maris Otter and Vienna malts showcasing Centennial and Columbus hops from the US with Jester hops from the UK. Bags of citrus fruits that finish spicy and bitter, with sweet malt and hints of biscuit and toffee to offset the huge hoppy assault on the taste buds. A full on dry hopped American style pale ale.

Pours a cloudy dark orange color with one finger of white, well-lasting foam. Nose is fresh with citrus fruits, pine needles and spices. Taste is fairly sweet and refreshing, ending in a mild pleasant bitterness. Carbonation is minimal and the palate is surprisingly rich.

Cask at JDW in Surbiton. Dry, herbacious hops, well-rounded with a lingering and pleasantly bitter finish. Good beer.

Cask conditioned in Brewery Tap, Shefford. Deep amber with moderate head. Grapefruit on the nose and a pronounced hop/grapefruit bitterness on the palate. A nice long, bitter finish. Very enjoyable and my kind of beer.
